September Newsletter

A warm hello to my followers, friends and new customers!

It’s been a super summer! I hope you’ve all made the most of these beautiful days making memories with family and friends as well as visiting your favourite summer destinations!
I’ve had a fabulous summer launching the store, some home events, getting creative with new ideas, visiting with family, working on our home renovations and starting a veggie garden! Murray and I also renewed our wedding vows in Hawaii and adopted a bunny! Plans are being made for the fall season and you may want to know what’s going on at the bee hive!

Home Renovations
A common question to me is “how are the renovations going?” I haven’t posted or updated much in social media, but things are moving along! We had to slow down the process since August 2016 but with Fall around the corner we anticipate that we will be able to increase productivity again and work steadily to finish up this amazing project. All is going great and what we have so far has far exceeded my expectations in quality and appearance! As we move forward I will be updating the progress more regularly. The good news is that my shop space is complete and I have a fantastic workspace to enjoy and keep the projects going!
Shop News
I have decided for the time being that I will not set up regular shop hours, rather continue to have visitors by appointment. I am very flexible and you can find me most days working on projects at the house. You will likely find me in work clothes and tied back hair but you’re always welcome to stop in. Just notify me by text, phone, email, FB or instagram!
I am also pleased to give my followers an opportunity to see what items I’ve added to the shop before I pack up and load our trailer for The Prairie Girls Vintage Market on Saturday, September 9th. To view the entire collection, go to and check all the categories. I will be adding more pieces daily up until September 8th. There will also be additional pieces only available at the market. So some great surprises are in store!
To inquire on an item, book an appointment and/or make a purchase email me at or use the link on the website. Noting the item stock number (HB number) would be most helpful! Items will not be marked sold until payment is received. See below for payment options.
Heartfelt thanks for your continued friendship, kindness and encouragement! I am so grateful to be part of creating your beautiful home! Below is the market information once again and please come by and say hello!
Payment Accepted By Visa, MasterCard, Cheque, Cash, E-Transfer

Shop Hours, Services and Events

Heartfelt gratitude to all those who attended my recent grand opening! It was a fantastic day with sunshine and smiling faces! I hope you all went home inspired and hopefully a prize in hand! It was so wonderful to share the day and I so look forward to seeing you again soon.

Hours of Business
Regular hours are currently being considered. For now, Honey B’s accepts appointments for visitors daily. Please call if you’d like to pop by (403)870-4694. It is most likely I am in or just out briefly for supplies. There’s always interesting things to see and not all items are on the website, you may get a chance to view a delightful piece not yet advertised!
Honey B’s provides beautiful antique and vintage items for the home, improving condition and visual interest with paint treatments or refinishing. Our 350 sf showroom is restocked on a weekly basis. New items are on the website for instant viewing. To see in person, simply call 403-870-4694 or email to book an appointment or place a hold on the item for 24 hours.
Have a dated, worn and tired piece of furniture? We also offer refinishing and painting services for a fee of $35 per hour plus cost of materials. We also buy antiques and vintage items! Please inquire.
An added service is upholstery on basic chair pads, with our without piping, benches and in some cases more elaborate chairs and loveseats for a fee of $35 per hour.
Upcoming Events
Honey B’s next market event will be  The Prairie Girls Vintage Market on Saturday, September 9, 2017 I am very excited to be participating in this market for the second time, it just gets better and better every year….over 50 vendors with farmhouse, vintage, antique and handmade goods! Days Away from Opening

Good morning all my wonderful friends and followers! A quick note to remind you of Honey B’s opening on Saturday, June 17th! We have a crew here trying to install the deck as quick as we can so we have a place to visit and set out some items. Cutting it close I know! But the weather hasn’t exactly been cooperating 🙁 It will all work out though!

I booked the opening on the same day as The Vintage with Flair market in Bragg Creek which I know may be a difficulty for some of you to attend both, I was unaware at the time! Mine is in the late afternoon Saturday so it could make for a really fun day to go to Flair’s market and then zip over to mine! I hope so! I would certainly do that :))) Who would turn down an entire day of vintage shopping!?

I’m going to have a lot of furniture that I’ve just posted on the website and I’m preparing a “bargain” centre as well where there will be some great deals!

Hope the sun is out and your shopping mode is on! Here’s some pics of the shop to boost your enthusiasm! Also a map to find us!

Saturday, June 17th  1:00-5:00pm Free Admission
